Way In consists of two composers who have been writing and publishing pop and classical music for several decades. Based on the Powys Shropshire border, we engage in a variety of musical projects, from indie styles to dance music, from children's musicals to jazz works to classical and neo-classical soundtrack styles. As a working duo we have a wide variety of both popular and classical training an experience which we are able to bring to your project. We can compose to your specifications, and in addition we can record your track or piece of music professionally using both acoustic and computer generated sounds to bring it to life, as well as professional vocalists. Way In are composers and songwriters of a wide breadth of experience, having worked intensively in the music business on a daily basis with all genres and styles. Flexible and intuitive, we work to known standards and with both traditional styles and original ideas, depending on the requirements of the composition in hand. Songwriter and composer skills we use include pitch and harmony awareness, guitar knowledge, keyboard and piano knowledge and a rounded use of classical instruments in our arrangements
Music-making can be said to be a selfish activity, however Way In are keen to work with budding songwriters and lyricists to help them achieve the sounds they are interested in. We are very aware that the finished product should represent what was in the customer's imagination at the start of the process, and therefore we favour working with customers for at least 50% of any first contracts, although we are happy to work independently if so commissioned.
In the field of music, sounds very much speak for themselves, and so we suggest that, if you would like to purchase some music from us or commission music to be written or composed by us, you should click on the relevant page and listen to the samples we have placed there. If you don't find anything that appeals or if you can't see the genre you are interested in, please send us an enquiry form and we'll try to oblige with whatever we have available in that genre.

The dance page offers some very up-to-date sound and vocals, but we can also offer contemporary and unusual jazz styles as well as trad. jazz on our jazz page. Classical music has not been ignored either, we have made use of many themed classical ideas to support soundtrack work in some of our more recent projects. Additionally we have pages which show our work in background music and a particular specialism one of us has developed for children's music.

Way In
Way In is the brainchild of two composers with a long joint history in pop and classical music styles. Situated in Powys, near to Shropshire, we involve ourselves in a variety of musical projects, and have experience of handling children's music, classical and themed works, backing and incidental music and singer commissioned music from indie styles to dance music, from children's musicals to jazz works to neo-classical soundtrack styles. Between us we bring a variety of instrumental expertise and understanding to any new project.
We can compose to your specifications, add harmonies to a simple tune or even develop a tune from just a gist of an idea, and in addition we can record your track or piece of music professionally using professional vocalists, instrumental sounds and computer orchestration to showcase the work. We have included samples of our work on our website to give you a flavour of the type of sounds we can create.
